RICHARD W. MOORE
Richard
W. Moore came to the firm from the law firm of Hopping Green & Sams
in Tallahassee, Florida. An accomplished litigator, Richard
has been instrumental in fashioning creative settlements between adverse
parties and regulatory agencies. Richard is certified as a mediator
by the Supreme Court of Florida. He is also trained as an arbitrator
by that Supreme Court of Florida. Richard has represented clients in a
variety of licensing and regulatory and enforcement matters and has knowledge
and experience on a wide range of environmental and land use issues, including:
local comprehensive planning and developments of regional impact; air and
water quality; dredge and fill matters; electric and magnetic fields regulation
and the complex procedures involved in electrical power plant siting before
the Department of Environmental Protection, the Division of Administrative
Hearings, and the Governor and Cabinet, sitting as the Florida Power Plant
and Transmission Line Siting Boards. Richard has given seminars on
environmental and administrative law for various professional organizations.
During law school, Richard was a member of the Florida State University
Law Review and was a founding fellow of the Florida State University Alternative
Dispute Resolution Center. He graduated with high honors from
the Florida State University College of Law in 1988. Richard
is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United
States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
He is a member of the Natural Resources Section of the American Bar Association,
Environmental Law and Land Use Section of the Florida Bar and the Environmental
Committee of the Florida Chamber.
