SUSAN L. ST. JOHN
 Susan
L. St. John joined Amundsen & Smith in 2006 after relocating to Tallahassee
from Gainesville, Florida, where she practiced at the firm of White &
Crouch, P.A. Her education and background in accounting and health
care strengthens the firm's growing health care regulatory practice to
better serve our clients. In a career spanning 16 years, Susan was
a Manager for Health Care Advisory Services at a major national accounting
firm; served as a Medicare auditor and trained auditors and conducted audits
throughout Florida and Texas for Medicare intermediaries; and was reimbursement
manager for a regional hospital in central Florida.
Susan received her juris doctor degree from the Florida State University
College of Law in 2002 and went on to earn her L.L.M. in taxation from
the University of Florida Levin School of Law. At Florida State,
she received the Book Award in International Taxation. Susan's undergraduate
alma mater is the University of Florida, where she received her B.S. in
accounting and was inducted into the Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society.
She is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section; the
Health Care Law Section; and the Business Law and Tax Law Section of the
Florida Bar; and the Health Law, Business Law and Tax Law Sections of the
American Bar Association.
